Job Title:  Experienced Electrician

Reports to: Project Manager, Job Super or Foreman.

Pay Scale: DOE

Position Summary: Electricians install, maintain and repair electrical systems in houses, factories, businesses, and other sites. They make sure that electrical systems are safe, to code, running as designed, and they trouble shoot and repair electrical equipment. Electricians are present during construction to install and test new equipment and systems, and come to sites to repair or maintain older, pre-existing systems. Electricians must be able to meet daily and weekly deadlines to maintain profitability while ensuring top quality installations and repairs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate safe working practices and reports unsafe working conditions or actions. Safety is the #1 priority.
  • Valid Driver's License and insurable by company insurance carrier
  • Be responsible for tools, vehicles, equipment, and materials that are in your possession for the company.
  • Wears personal protective equipment as required (such as hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, work boots, respirator, hearing protection, fall protection, cut resistant gloves, etc.) Request from Safety director as needed.
  • Have working knowledge of NEC and maintain license.
  • Be able to read blueprints, specs, and diagrams as it relates to your profession.
  • Good working knowledge of math as it relates to your profession.
  • Be able to bend, lift, carry, climb ladders, and stand on lifts and cross uneven surfaces.
  • Install wiring in conduit or cables based off job wiring methods.
  • Use of manual, electrical and battery operated hand tools, such as screwdriver, hammer, saw, wrench, pliers, drill, conduit benders, knockout cutters, wire cutters, wire strippers, wire pullers, etc.
  • Train apprentices and help ensure their safety.
  • Attend training to master your position.
  • Comply with all company and safety policies.
  • Have no issues seeing colors.
  • Common sense approach...if it does not make sense, don't do it.
